I’m incredibly jazzed to bring you Dear Hancock’s sneak peek, as it features three distinctive products that they are well known for: great calendars, modern nail wraps and BUNNIES!
Dear Hancock’s desk calendar’s sell out each year and I’m certain that the 2016 updated version of “The Imagined Desks of Historical Women” will be no exception. They have added some new desks to this version, including Ray Eames, Betsy Ross and Louisa May Alcott. The newest Museum Nails collaboration is such a beauty, designed by Ashley Goldberg (yay PDX designers!), I cannot wait for these to grace my fingertips — perfect spring palette! And last, but most certainly not least, Dear Hancock’s bunny cards have taken on a bit of a cult following, you can now deck your gifts out in either “Wonder Bunny” (shown above) or “Bunny with Maracas” wrap, yippeee! Ogle these and more in Booth No. 2052.

I’m pleased to report that Crow and Canary’s debut at the
National Stationery Show was a smashing success, so much so that I didn’t get a moment away from my own booth that didn’t include eating a frenzied lunch or visiting the washroom. A wonderful dilemma to have, but I must admit that I’m still in mourning that I wasn’t able to walk the show a bit. Luckily, I’ve been able to live vicariously through some other great blogger’s coverage – that helps ease the sting a bit.
On the bright side, my lovely friend Amy of
Old Sweet Song will be back next week with her NSS coverage. I was so very fortunate to have her as a C&C correspondent at the Javits. So, five more days of paper geekery headed your way, sweet readers.

Smock has really pulled out all of the stops with these latest DIY tutorials showcasing their luxe bamboo gift wrap. How amazing are those bows? I seriously can’t wait to try both of these projects!

How clever are these chalkboard gift tags from
Kate’s Papergoods? I would love to embellish my holiday gifts with the large gold arrow tags! Also, digging Kate’s two
illustrated calendars, both feature color themed objects and would look great framed.

I delight in spying new gift wrap designs at NSS each year. I’m a firm believer that half of gift giving is the effort of wrapping it up in a fun way. Eieio Studio always has some great designs, unfortunately I didn’t capture any photos at the show. Who am I missing? Would love to hear about more lines with great wrap offering…

Banquet Workshop is another lovely line making their debut at the Stationery Show this year. I’m quite looking forward to checking out this Vancouver, BC based company’s prints, cards and gift wrap in person. They are exhibiting in booth no. 1452, if you’re interested in doing the same.

I must confess, I was much heavier on the chatting and not so much with the photos this year. I had an amazing time, only wish that I could have been two or maybe ten places at once…

Here are a few additional favorites that I wish I had photographed while at the Stationery Show:

Chewing the Cud >>> Their fabric wraps are unique and totally eco-chic. {image via chewing the cud}

Smock Paper >>> Everyone’s a fan of this luxe, did I mention double-sided, paper. Word on the street is that they’re introducing gift boxes…

Eieio >>> This company is known for their exquisite, modern wrap. Have you seen their new 18 sheet hanging collection yet?

Sanna Annukka>>> The lovely and equally paper-crazed, Molly turned me on to this talented Finnish designer right before I left for NYC. I’m smitten. {image via nineteenseventythree}

My mom essentially groomed me to be a bonafide gift wrap junkie. She always took such care in wrapping packages no matter what the contents, even as a kid I had to admire the presentation before ripping into the box. Remember the old adage, “it’s the thought that counts”? I prefer to say: “It’s the presentation that counts.”
