May 17, 2012 / gifty goodness, holiday, national stationery show
So I know we’re a bit far away from the holidays yet, but all the great new products for Christmas and Hanukkah start premiering this time of year so that all your favorite shops can place orders in advance. I absolutely couldn’t resist sharing Yellow Owl Workshop’s new stamp sets. Do you see what I see? Newsprint + rainbow stamp pads + YOW stamp sets = the best custom gift wrap on the block.

I’m all about the details of gift wrapping, you can so easily elevate a small gift with dazzling presentation –
Knot & Bow is clearly of the same mind. Their shop offers a lovely assortment of supplies and embellishments. Knot & Bow was a featured Etsy seller this summer. I highly recommend reading the interview
here, quite an inspiring evolution.

Blackbird Letterpress has the perfect gift offerings for the letterpress lover or bibliophile on your list. I love the idea of themed collections as a gift, such a great idea! The upcycled vintage book cover datebooks are a super awesome collaboration with
Gutwrench Press. The pages inside are printed with both handset type and photopolymer plates – quite an undertaking, with stunning results.

Why hello there, you sweet little stocking stuffers, you.
Greenwich Letterpress has two new enamel pin designs to add to their collection. That teepee would like mighty fine on my lapel, Santa. Available in their
shop right now.

August 26, 2011 / gifty goodness, rock scissor paper

One of the highlights of being in town for the
NYIGF this month was peeping
Rock Scissor Paper’s gorgeous booth and new products in person. I think they really hit it out of the park with their new designs and am super excited about their newest gift item: ceramic coin banks.

I am a major fan of
Chewing the Cud’s line. Can you even believe how adorable their canvas buckets are? If I were to receive a gift packaged in this I would probably spontaneously combust from joy.
A postscript to the mister, let’s see if he’s really paying attention: My birthday’s in one month from today, so you know if you want to see me do a serious happy dance, look no further.
