Alice-Louise Press was launched in 2005 under the creative direction of Amy Lesniewicz. While Amy’s letterpress journey began years ago, the love of printing was established in her family many years prior. Alice-Louise Press is named after Amy's grandmother, who during World War II began manning the offset presses while most men went off to war and left the presses empty. Alice’s determination was passed to her granddaughter and has led Alice-Louise Press to expand from a small studio in Amy’s garage to an expanded retail storefront in historic Perrysburg, Ohio where customers can view all the antique presses in action while she prints out her latest custom creations.
Alice-Louise Letterpress uses recylcled brown bag kraft envelopes andall cards are printed on Mohawk Superfine paper, which is FSC certified and offset with Green-e certified wind energy.
